Fair Go Appearance for Total Debt Solutions

Fair Go ran a series on the Diputes Tribunal and the difficulties people have collecting their money even when they have a Sealed Tribunal Order.

Total Debt Solutions was contacted to provide some insight as to how people could use a debt collector to help with collection of a Disputes Order.

Tim Levchenko-Scott was interviewed whilst conducting some field visits in the Auckland area. Tim explains how collection costs cannot be added to a Disputes Order. He also discusses success rates.

Total Debt Solutions has also developed strategies to prevent debtors from de-railing the collection process with unsubstantiated disputes. This prevents debtors from using a weak or non-existent dispute to avoid payment for debts which have not gone through the Tribunal process.
